Site "Peacemaker" closed, still accusing "anti-Ukrainian elements"

01:13, 15.05.2016

The Ukrainian source "Peacemaker", which illegally publishes personal data of citizens, decided to close.

'Taking into account the reaction caused by the publication of the list of journalists accredited to the terrorist organization" DPR", requirements of the Commissioner for Human Rights Lutkovskaya, as well as that of the ever-troubled and worried European Union, as well as that of anti-Ukrainian journalists of Ukraine, headed by the Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Popova, the Center "Peacemaker" has taken a difficult decision to close the site. Currently, the staff of the Centre are carrying out the archiving of all available information, which later will be published in the open access so that anyone could download it and deploy locally on their computer.

We thank the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine for the fact that they used our system to identify pro-Russian radicals, Russian spies, thereby protecting our peace and tranquility, as well as all those who sent us, for the public good, information on the separatists, terrorists, mercenaries and other war criminals. Thank you for staying with us and for caring about Ukraine,' says the statement published on the "Peacemaker" website.

It worth reminding that the Ukrainian writer Oles Busina and the politician Oleg Kalashnikov were killed immediately after the publication of personal data on the site controlled by the MP Anton Gerashchenko.
