22:32, 12.09.2016

A woman who allegedly distributed anti-Ukrainian propaganda in social networks is arrested in Kiev. It is reported by the press service of the SBU.

According to the agency, the detainee acted on the orders of Russian curators and, together with accomplices, through one of the social networks, spread ‘appeals to a violent change of the current power and an organization of attacks on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine’, as well as collected funds for financial support of «separtists».

In addition, the woman also ran a number of anti-Ukrainian communities in social networks.

Judging by photos posted by the SBU, the anti-Ukrainian propaganda consisted of participating in the Russian network VKontakte and watching Anatoly Shary’s videos.

It is possible that the woman was detained for several likes for Shary’s videos or posts criticizing the current government.

‘The malefactor is informed of suspicion under the Art. 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. She was given a preventive measure in the form of detention,’ stated the SBU report.

Now the SBU is trying to find all those involved in the operation of an ‘organized criminal group’.
