If coal from Donbass is delivered to Ukraine via Russia, the ATO radicals will block eight main railway lines on the border with the Russian Federation. Such a threat was announced in his video blog by one of the initiators of the blockade, the Verkhovnaya Rada MP, Semen Semenchenko (previously convicted Konstantin Grishin who has changed his name). 

‘Don’t tell us tales that we will buy coal in Russia. I'll tell you what we can do, if coal comes from Russia. We will just stop, if there is the decision of the blockade headquarters and the will of the Ukrainian people, all delivery of goods from the Russian Federation. There are only eight major railway lines connecting us with the Russian Federation,’ said Semenchenko.
