The advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Zorian Shkiryak said on the air of the TV channel «112 Ukraine» that he was strongly opposed to any peace talks.

‘I think we need to put an end to any talk at all about the possibility of any truce with these frank and immoral political gamblers and scams. Because no diplomatic relations work with moral monsters ... The escalation of the conflict will continue. Putin will not stop. There will be no truce. The Svetlodarsk arc and Mariupol direction remain the main hot spots: from Maryinka to Shirokino and further, Avdeevka is constantly under the enemy fire,’ he said.

Shkiryak also claims that the Ukrainian military are allegedly carrying out successful attacks on the Debaltsevso direction.

‘This is primarily due to the fact that we have occupied strategic heights. The Russian forces have suffered significant losses. According to our operational information, which we can confirm, it is at least 40 killed men. From the information that we receive, including from the occupied territories ... The losses are expected to be much heavier. The elite special forces of the Russian troops, in particular, the GRU special forces, took part in the storming of the Ukrainian positions in the Svetlodarsk arc,’ Shkiryak said.
