The law enforcement authorities of the Donetsk People's Republic initiated a criminal case on the fact of the AFU shelling at a civilian bus in Elenovka on Friday morning, reported the deputy commander of the DPR operational command, Eduard Basurin. 

‘On this fact, the representatives of the DPR investigating authorities initiated a criminal case,’ said Eduard Basurin.

‘It is important to note that the crime occurred at the time of the work of the Deputy Head of the OSCE, Alexander Hug, in the Republic, which shows the Ukrainian military’s disregard of the international mission,’ added Eduard Basurin. 

According to specified data of the command, the incident occurred at about eight o'clock in the morning. A bus traveling on the route Dokuchaevsk-Donetsk came under a sniper fire near the locality of Elenovka. A peaceful female resident born in 1965 was wounded in a leg. 

‘At the moment, she has undergone a surgery, her condition is considered as satisfactory,’ said the deputy commander.
