The adviser to the Head of the DPR, Alexander Kazakov, says that the Ukrainian special services are preparing terrorist attacks against the population of Donbass, in order subsequently to accuse the DPR and the LPR. Kazakov said this on the air of the «Process» program on the «Zvezda» TV channel. 

‘The SBU and the Ukrainian intelligence have had such plans for a long time, they have been prepared since 2014 and regularly carried out, that is, Ukraine has regularly carried out terrorist attacks, well, like in Volnovaha, for example, on the eve of international summits, in order to later convert them into some political points for themselves,’ said Kazakov. 

At the same time, according to the adviser to the Head of the Republic, there is a high risk that Ukraine will use environmental weapons against the region. 

‘We consider areas where such strikes can be inflicted. It is not for nothing that in the program for the reunification of the Donbass people, one of the requirements of our country is joint commissions for industrial enterprises along the contact line, because, say, environmental weapons, however little they are thought of, can be applied in such a way that the consequences will only be felt on our side, given the movement of groundwater,’ explained Kazakov.

He also named the territories where the likelihood of Ukraine inflicting such blows is high. 

‘First, the border areas, what we now call the border in the west, where the regime of the state border is introduced. There are key areas that, as we know for sure, are also being developed by the General Staff of Ukraine: this is the so-called Svetlodar arc, where Ukraine is interested not only in destabilizing the situation, but, most importantly, in the breakdown of communication between Donetsk and Lugansk, and, of course, the direction between Donetsk and Novoazovsk where they are interested (in the destabilization of the situation),’ Kazakov said. 

He emphasized that before the military strike on these territories, the Ukrainian military would first conduct sabotage.
