Yesterday, according to the operative data received and the reports of local residents in the area of the locality of Sokolniki, the Slavyanoserbsky region of the Republic, near the contact line, an enemy subversive group was discovered. 

During the search activities, our reconnaissance team discovered it at 22.00 in one of the abandoned houses. After the refusal of saboteurs to surrender their weapons, a battle began. At the same time, from the territory controlled by the AFU, the enemy began to support the breakthrough of the subversive group by intense fire from grenade launchers and large-caliber small arms. Under the fire cover, the enemy managed to flee in the direction of the locality of Krymskoye, on the territory controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

During the fighting, none of the LPR People’s Militia soldiers was injured. According to our scouts, it is reliably known about, at least, one wounded saboteur. 

At present, an operational group has left for the scene of the fighting to carry out investigative measures.
