Representatives of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the ceasefire (JCCC) and the OSCE Special monitoring mission (CMM) documented the effects of the two-hour night shelling of the LPR checkpoint at Stanitsa Luganskaya.

During yesterday’s night battle, there was damaged a bridge over the Seversky Donets river and the People's Militia’s checkpoint in the area.

‘The attack by the Ukrainian military began at about 22:20 and lasted, with few interruptions, more than two hours,’ reported the People's Militia.

‘In addition to a 120-mm mortar, the shelling was also carried out with an infantry fighting vehicle, grenade launchers and small arms,’ added a representative of the People’s Militia.

Representatives of the JCCC documented the damage of the bridge and the checkpoint and made the binding to the terrain of detected residues of the Ukrainian shells to further calculate the position from which the shelling was carried out.

Representatives of the OSCE SMM also photographed places hit by the Ukrainian weapons, and then hastily withdrew to the Ukrainian checkpoint.
