From 13:00 (14:00 Moscow time) on March 15, all automobile and railway lines to the contact line in Donbass will be closed.

This was stated by Alexander Turchynov, the National Security and Defense Council Secretary. 

‘In compliance with the decision of the National Security and Defense Council, before 13:00 today, all roads and railway lines leading to the contact line will be closed by the National Police and the National Guard,’ he said. 

‘There will be no provocations in the ATO area, no manifestations of sabotage or any other activity that harms the security of Ukraine,’ Turchinov added.

‘The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Security Service will engage the public, not the convicted, not provocateurs, but those who want to help the state to ensure the full control over the implementation of the decision of the National Security and Defense Council,’ he said. 

Turchinov also urged the patriots to join the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the National Guard. 

‘I call on all the patriots who want to defend Ukraine, to sign a contract and join the ranks of either the AFU, or the National Guard. They are waiting for you there,’ he said. 

He noted that the decision had been made in a timely manner and ‘starting from 13:00 will be realized’ (14:00 Moscow time).
