The radical veterans of the so-called ATO, who declared the blockade of Donbass, are inspired by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine and try to provoke the exacerbation of the situation in the east. 

Such an opinion was expressed at a press conference in Kiev by the head of the fund «Ukrainian politics», Kost Bondarenko, who pointed to the fact that it was Alexander Turchinov who had announced a blockade of one of last year's interview with Ukrainian media.

‘I draw your attention to the fact that the chairman of the National Security Council is the President, and Turchinov is his subordinate. He has no rights as an official to voice his opinions. Either he resigns, or his position should be agreed with the President. The president has never said that he supports the blockade. Therefore, in our government there is a stable schizophrenia, when two heads of one branch of the  power say different things and act differently. It is full schizophrenia,’ said the analyst.

In addition, he said that Turchinov is trying to earn bonuses for a new political project. 

‘We know that Turchinov is finishes working in his post and is going into a political project, which would obviously be the result of such actions that would crystallize into a new project. There should be united people who are sharply critical of the Minsk Agreements and the idea of ​​peace in the east. Moreover, among the Ukrainian «Hawks» constantly circulates the idea that it is necessary to provoke the situation in the east, to ensure Putin actually sending troops and make impossible the negotiations between Russia and the US,’ concluded Bondarenko.
