It was stated by a Turkish journalist, Deprem Okay, at a press conference in Donetsk.

‘In 2014, I actually was an unofficial observer at the elections in Donbass on November 2nd. Today, I'm here again, and I am proud of it,’ said the journalist.

According to him, for every country, and Turkey in particular, it is important to find out what is happening in Donbas, and it is important to see and recognize the primaries.

‘Because until recently the population of many countries knew nothing about the self-determination of the people of Donbass and what was really going on here,’ says the Turkish journalist.

‘With the primaries and the following elections, the people of Donbass demonstrate the will to self-construction of their future. This is a very important step towards the recognition of the Republics by the world community,’ he added.
