Breaking news from the city Genichesk in the Kherson region: Local people who came to a rally, adopted a resolution with a request for assistance to the Russian authorities of the Crimea. It was reported by a social activist, Gennady Sivak.

According to him, representatives of the regions of Genichesk asked for help from the Head of the Crimea, Sergey Aksenov.

‘Since the Soviet times, the gas supply system in Genichesk has been attached to the Glebovskoye store which is located on the territory of the Crimea. The Ukrainian authorities refuse to sign the contract, declaring it inadmissible to sign the document  sealed by the Russian Crimea. Last year Genichesk was saved from the frost only by the goodwill of Russia that helped by launching the gas supply.

This year the situation is repeated. Mayor of Genichesk, Alexander Tulupov, came out to the protesters and promised that the problem would be solved by the Ukrainian authorities, we just have to wait 3-4 years.

The protesters were not satisfied with such an answer of the official. They signed a collective appeal to Aksenov, asking him to assist Genichesk that has already been surviving without heat and gas for about a week.

Now the Ukrainian authorities can ensure no more than 65 thousand cubic meters of gas supply in Genichesk. With the onset of cold weather, we will need 110 thousand cubic meters per day,’ said Sivak.
