The procedure of handing over to the DPR and LPR representatives persons who were held in captivity by the Ukrainian authorities, was completed in the area of ​​the checkpoint «Mayorsk». on the northern outskirts of Gorlovka.

Fifteen people were handed over by the Ukrainian side to the Commissioner for Human Rights of the People's Republic of Donetsk, Daria Morozova, and the head of the working group of the Lugansk People's Republic for the exchange of war prisoners, Olga Kobtseva. The procedure of handing them over was attended by the Chief of Staff of the DPR operational command, Ruslan Yakubov, representatives of the DPR Defense Ministry and the LPR Military Prosecutor's office.

Among the liberated, there are eight men and seven women, including those  seriously ill. Earlier, it was reported that ten people would be sent to Donetsk, and five to Lugansk.
