Ukraine tried to ban «1C» operated by up to 80% of business in the country

In addition to Yandex and Mail.ru Group, the Russian IT companies: 1C, ABBYY, Softline Group, and the Parus corporation were included in the sanctions list of the Ukrainian authorities. Interest is caused by the ban of the «1C». The company specified on its website that it was its franchisee that had been hit, while not all of them, and the company itself does not sell the software to the end user. A representative of 1C said that the company would not give more detailed comments. 

The use of the «1C: Enterprise» software products fully complies with the current legislation of Ukraine. The decree of the President of Ukraine «On the application of personal special economic sanctions» concerns only certain legal entities. The «1C: Enterprise» program is fully operational, technical support works in a regular mode, all information and methodological resources are available for use. the «1C: Franchisee» partners continue to provide services for updating products and information technology support for users of the «1C: Enterprise» software products. Users can get advice on the work of the «1C: Enterprise» solutions both by phone and by e-mail, the company said. 

According to one of the largest franchisees of the Russian system of the "Eurosoftprom", in Ukraine, the «1C: Enterprise» software products are used by about 300,000 companies. The regional development manager of TotalSoft, Roman Kifyak, is confident that almost 80% of small businesses in the country use the «1C».
