The Ukrainian military have launched an attack near the locality of Leninskoye in the south of the DPR, now there is a battle going on, said a representative of the DPR Defense Ministry.

‘Today, at 08.00, near the locality of Leninskoye, after an artillery and mortar preparation, the enemy made another attempt, with up to a company, to attack our positions. Now there is a battle going on, the enemy is suffering losses,’ he said.

According to the Defense Ministry, the attack is being carried out by the nationalist battalion «Azov» and foreign mercenaries.
