The Ukrainian military have seized the filter plant near Donetsk and then, from its territory fired in the direction of the Donetsk People's Republic, reported the deputy commander of the operational command of the DPR, Eduard Basurin. 

‘Last night, the Ukrainian side, in violation of all the agreements and commitments, seized objects of the Donetsk filtration plant to conduct from its territory the provocative fire on our positions,’ said Eduard Basurin. 

According to him, from the premises of the plant, the Ukrainian military shelled, with mortars and heavy machine guns, the militia positions and residential areas of Yasinovataya and Spartak. 

Eduard Basurin added that the plant had been captured by the radical nationalist units to ‘unleash a new round of fighting in Donbass’.
