The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has opened a criminal case against Lutsenko, the Attorney General of the country. This was written by Renat Kuzmin, the former First Deputy Prosecutor General, on his Facebook page. He has filed to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau an application stating that Lutsenko allegedly received a post for a bribe.

‘As I was informed by a detective of the chief detective unit of the NABU, N. Polkhovskaya, on my statement on the appointment of Lutsenko the Prosecutor General for a bribe, there had been opened a criminal case,’ wrote Kuzmin.

He also added that he is planning to hand over the original letter of Onishchenko, in which the latter admitted transferring the MP’s bribes for the appointment of the prosecutor general.

Earlier, a MP of the Verkhovnaya Rada, Alexander Onishchenko accused Poroshenko’s administration of bribing parliamentarians. According to him, the President of Ukraine gave a bribe for the promotion of initiatives he needed.
