A Ukrainian sniper opened fire today on a repair crew which arrived in the area of the Donetsk filter plant to carry out restoration work on the power line. It was reported by the DPR operational command.

‘Repairs to restore power supply to the Donetsk filter plant is prevented by a Ukrainian sniper firing on a repair crew which arrived on the scene of the accident,’ stated the command.

Earlier, it was reported that today in the morning, as a result of the shelling, the Donetsk filter plant was de-energized. Without water remain Avdeevka, occupied by the Ukrainian military, and partly Donetsk and Yasinovataya, villages Vasilevka and Spartak in the Yasinovatsky region.
