In Dnepropetrovsk, the «Ukrainian patriots» complain that the police took the side of the «rashists» and firmly suppressed the neo-Nazis' attempts to provoke brawls at the commemorative marches in honor of the 72nd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

‘Right after the end of the official events near the Monument of Glory in the Dnieper (Dnepropetrovsk), a real mass brawl arose on Yavornytsky Avenue, as a result of which it turned out to be veterans of the war (the ATO members») who were hurt,’ complains one of the «patriots».

‘When the representatives of the Socialist Party reached the avenue ... it was blocked by a few but determined veterans, participants in the war in the East (Kiev’s punitive operation in Donbass) who, without analyzing whether there were some party flags or the Soviet ones, demanded to remove the red rags’.

As a result, the police very rigidly pushed the «ATO veterans» away from the townspeople, during clashes with the law enforcers 11 «ATO participants», as their «brothers» say, received injures of various severity, two were taken away by the ambulance.

In their turn, the press service of the National Police of the Dnepropetrovsk region clarified that during the clashes in Dnepropetrovsk, there had been injured eight activists (without specifying from which side of the confrontation) and 6 policemen, and 15 people had been detained.
