Security officers of the SBU are searching the office of the Kiev Internet provider Wnet, which continued to provide access to the blocked Russian sites. 

‘Right now, on June 1, 2017, an armed search of the Wnet is taking place in the center of the city. We ask for the maximum repost,’ says the page of the provider in Facebook. 

At the same time, the company said that they had begun to take measures to implement the censorship decision of the National Security and Defense Council, approved by the presidential decree, but had not had time to do so, adding that searches were conducted by the SBU. 

The SBU said that they charged the Kiev provider with an attempt to overthrow the power and dismember Ukraine. 

The SBU confirmed that it was the employees of this service who conducted searches at the office of the Kiev Internet provider Wnet, which continued to provide access to the blocked Russian sites.

It is noteworthy that in the statement of the provider, published after the censorship decree of President Poroshenko, it was said that the company intended to block the access to the prohibited resources, but asked for a clearly defined and described mechanism regarding the restriction.
