Power line support undermined in LPR

23:59, 01.06.2017

In the area of Georgievka village of the Lutuginsky region in the Lugansk People's Republic, unknown persons undermined the support of a power transmission line (PTL), reported the press service of the MGB.

‘In the area of Georgievka in the Lutuginsky region of the LPR, one of the power transmission line supports was destroyed by unknown people. As a result, Lugansk, as well as a number of other localities of the Republic, experienced problems with power supply,’ the report said.

The MGB noted that two explosive devices had been found at the site of the blast, one of which had not worked.

The department does not exclude that ‘the undermining of the power line will be qualified as a terrorist attack’.

The investigative and operational team is working on the site.
