The OSCE observers communicated with the participants of yesterday's rallies near the National Bank (NBU) in Kiev, two of whom said that they had been promised an equivalent to 10 US dollars for their participation in the protests, states the report of the OSCE mission.

The report also states that the protest near the NBU was attended by about 1.2 thousand people, with 70% of them elderly women.

‘The Mission observers personally saw about 20-30 young men in civilian clothes, standing near the crowd and stopping those who tried to leave the rally. The latter were asked where they were going,’ says the report.

It is also reported that the same young men stopped the observers, having introduced themselves as members of a «rapid response team» of the political party «For life».
