The MPs of the Verkhovnaya Rada of Ukraine offer to introduce a criminal responsibility for government officials visiting the Crimea and the territories of Donbass uncontrolled by Kiev. It is stated in the bill registered in the Verkhovnaya Rada

According to the document, for violation of the order of entry into the territory which Ukraine considers «occupied», it is proposed to introduce a penalty of up to 50 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens (850 UAH or about $ 33). For a repeated offense, the document provides a detention for up to six months, with disqualification to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years.

These changes do not apply to the military personnel on duty.
