Russian language banned in Ukrainian airports
All airports in Ukraine should get rid of the Russian language and communist names. It was stated according to the local media, the Minister of Infrastructure, Vladimir Omelyan.
‘At the airports of Ukraine the information should be posted on the electronic scoreboard, signs, signposts or sonicated from the speakers in Ukrainian and English languages. There should be no Russian. It's not just a matter of the state language, it is a matter of self-esteem in the first place. In addition, the airports employees, when communicating with passengers, should use exclusively Ukrainian or English languages,’ he said.
The official added that, according to the law of decommunisation, there are also to be changed the names of enterprises and institutions still having the mark of Sovietization.According to: Life Новости
