On October 19, Donetsk said good-bye to the Hero of the DPR, Colonel Arsen Pavlov (call sign «Motorola»).

The farewell ceremony was held at the Donetsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.

The tribute to the Hero of the DPR was attended by thousands of people of different age groups, schoolchildren, students and pensioners. People lined in a kilometer queue to send Arsen Pavlov to his last journey and place wreaths and flowers on his grave. The ceremony was attended by the Hero’s colleagues from the battalion «Sparta» and the wife of the deceased. The Head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko also came to say goodbye to «Motorola».

Arsen Pavlov died on October 16, 2016, in his apartment building in the center of Donetsk. According to preliminary data, his death was caused by an explosive device detonation.
