AFU helicopter was downed in order to hide the theft of ammunition

01:25, 28.03.2017

After the resonant explosion of the arsenal of missile and artillery armament of the AFU in Balakleya, the AFU General Headquarters initiated a check of all storage sites for the ammunition of the security forces.

Particular attention was paid to the storage of rocket and artillery armament (RAW) in the «ATO» area. In such warehouses, the commission has already revealed a lot of violations of the order of storage of ammunition, as well as the facts of shortages. Such information was voiced by the official representative of the LPR People's Militia, Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko.

According to the LPR People's Militia command, the cause of the crash of the Mi-2 military helicopter, which crashed on March 26 near the locality of Malinovka, 10 km from Kramatorsk, was not a clash with power lines, as the Ukrainian media reported.

The true cause of the helicopter crash was an explosion for the liquidation of the members of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Commission, who had evidence of the thefts based on the results of the inspection of armament depots in the AFU military units.

‘According to our information, a high-ranking officer of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine was in the MI-2 military helicopter that fell near Kramatorsk. It is possible that this is a representative of the leadership of the rocket and artillery armament service of the AFU land forces, who flew to Kramotorsk to investigate into the theft of ammunition from the military arsenal in Balakleya,’ Marachko said.
