The MP of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Vladimir Parasyuk called the killer of the Russian ambassador in Ankara a hero. He made a corresponding statement on his Facebook page.

‘When a person is willing, at the cost of his own life, to go to extreme measures for the sake of his idea, for the sake of the truth, then we can say with confidence that he is a hero!’ he wrote, accompanying his post with a photo of the Turkish police officer, Mevlüt Merten Altyntashu.
