The authorities of the frontline localities Aleksandrovka and Luganskoye, located on the western outskirts of Donetsk, equipped the polling stations for the 2016 primaries with bomb shelters. It was announced by the heads of the local administrations.

‘The building which will host the primaries, is well suitable for the vote, it’s a school with thick walls, in which there is a bomb shelter for 120 people. So, if God forbid the shelling starts, everything in the school building will be able to go calmly down to the shelter,’ said Konstantin Chaly, the head of Alexandrovna and a candidate in the primaries.

According to him, the bomb shelter is equipped with a bio toilet. In addition, in case of shelling, there is stored warm clothes, bedding and drinking water.

‘We also have an equipped bomb shelter. The primaries will be held at a sports complex where there is an emergency exit leading to the shelter,’ said, in his turn turn, Arthur Lysenko, the head of the administration of Luganskoye and also a candidate in the primaries.
