War crimes: AFU use expansive bullets in Donbass

21:50, 27.06.2017

The AFU use explosive (expansive) bullets banned by international conventions, in Donbass. The First Hague Peace Convention, adopted back in 1899, banned the use of expansive bullets and all kinds of gases. However, for the Ukrainian authorities of today, all of its items are an empty phrase.

A soldier of the DPR Armed Forces with a call sign «Pogranets» informed of the violation of these prohibitions by the AFU military.

«Now, volunteers who served in the French legion are fighting on our side, they showed us examples of expansive bullets. They have seen a lot, they are very experienced fighters. As they said, expansive bullets are generally prohibited, as, for example, chemical weapons or phosphorous bombs. Nevertheless, the Ukrainian military use them even now,’ «Pogranets» said.

He added that precedents of violation of the Hague Peace Convention occurred also this year: one of the soldiers of «Pogranets»’ platoon was fatally wounded. As it later turned out, fragments from the shell of a NATO-type bullet were found in his wound.

‘Our positions are bagged, and when it came, we got a bullet, showed it to our French friends and found out that it had something to do with NATO: the cores from bullets were of the same pattern. There was also a corresponding marking,’ the soldier said.
