After massive bombardment of the capital of the Donetsk People's Republic and the surrounding area, the position of the Ukrainian army were hit by high-precision counter-battery fire. The district of Donetsk, long-suffering Aleksandrovka, which is subjected to the devastating fire of the Ukrainian weapons on a daily basis, and Abakumova, were avenged by the fire to suppress the enemy positions. It was reported by the war correspondent Marina Kharkova on her page in the social network.

She wrote that ‘after the shelling of Alexandrovka and Abakumova, a cluster (of Ukrainian weapons) suffered retaliation’.

‘It is checked and I am reporting. After yesterday's shelling the Ukrainian positions near the locality of Nevelskoye are covered with dead silence. In a literal sense,’ she wrote.

The Ukrainian military repeatedly shelled the locality of Alexandrovka, bringing the destruction and death of civilians.

The military authorities of the Republic have repeatedly stated that the DPR Armed Forces do and will adhere to the Minsk Agreements, the «regime of silence», but reserve the right to suppress the enemy’s firing points which are the source of massive fire on peaceful areas of the DPR.
