The Ukrainian side is not ready to withdraw weapons from Stanitsa Luganskaya, and is finding new pretexts in order not to start the separation of forces in this region. Yesterday, on Thursday, Leonid Kuchma said that the withdrawal of forces from Stanitsa Luganskaya would begin only after the withdrawal had been carried out by the LPR, as well as on condition of compliance with the «silence regime» at this site.

However, the Ukrainian side almost daily shells the positions of the People's Militia in the area of ​​the Prince Igor monument from Stanitsa Luganskaya where, according to the framework agreement, the separation is to take place. Just last night, the  AFU opened fire on our side from anti-aircraft systems and small arms.

The LPR units, in their turn, clearly observe the Minsk Agreements; they comply with the «silence regime» and are ready to the separation forces and means in the area of Stanitsa Luganskaya.
