The Head of the Donetsk People's Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko, proposed to ban the entry to the territory of the DPR to the former Ukrainian President, Viktor Yanukovich, and members of his former party, the Party of Regions. This was announced by the leader of the DPR during his briefing in Donetsk. 

‘We have nothing to do with traitors. Perhaps, in fact he is still the president of Ukraine, since he did not surrender his powers and what happened in Kiev is an illegal seizure of power. Everything that is happening in the DPR now, is none of his business,’ said Alexander Zakharchenko. 

The speaker of the People's Council, Denis Pushilin, who participated in the briefing, added that Viktor Yanukovich could have influenced the situation in Ukraine in 2014, which would have allowed avoiding the military conflict in Donbass and human victims.
