The Donetsk regional military and civil administration intends to demand a compensation from the Russian Federation ‘for the destruction of buildings as a result of the hostilities’, announced the head of the administration, Pavel Zhebrivsky, commenting on the issue of payment of compensation for destroyed homes.

‘It is written that the housing will be restored at the expense of the state budget with the transferring of compensators on the aggressor country. In the regional administration, we are preparing to create a regional department on the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk region. One of its tasks is to help residents. We will demand a compensation from the aggressor,’ he said.
