Journalists who were at the forefront of the People's Militia in the village of Nizhneye Lozovoye in the area of Debaltsevo, came under artillery fire by the Kiev military.

The journalists were returning from the positions of the LPR People's Militia, where they had watched night attempts of the Kiev military to attack, with the support of cannon artillery and mortars, the units of the Defense Ministry of the Republic.

About 9.30, while the journalists were interviewing residents of Nizhneye Lozovoye, which had recently come under fire from the Ukrainian artillery, the AFU began again to bombard the village with 152mm cannons. One of the shells exploded within about 50 meters from the group of the media professionals.

In total, during the shelling which lasted about 10 minutes, the Kiev military launched on the village at least 15 large-caliber shells, one of which hit a residential house. The information about possible casualties is being specified. 

Soldiers of the People's Militia quickly evacuated the journalists from the attack zone. The journalists were not affected by the incident.
