Last week, already traditionally during the foreign trips of Ukrainian President Poroshenko and the Contact Group meetings in Minsk, the Republics of Donbass had to endure a number of provocations.
The Kiev authorities finally dropped the mask of respectability, taking a number of steps and making a number of statements that are openly Nazi, in relation to both the inhabitants of Donbass and any manifestations of dissent in Ukraine itself.
On May 20, at a joint press conference with the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Merkel, the Ukrainian President Poroshenko declares that the Minsk process should be returned to the constructive channel.
Judging by the actions of the Ukrainian military, their Supreme Commander-in-Chief sees a constructive channel in maintaining a high intensity of bombardment of the Republics of Donbass.
In the DPR, the main bombardments continue, as before, in the Donetsk direction where the Ukrainian side launches over 100 122 and 152mm artillery shells and makes 80 rounds from tanks. As a result of the shelling, two houses are damaged and two localities left without electricity.
On the same day, the Ukrainian army opens a massive fire from grenade launchers on Makeevka, a satellite city of Donetsk, and a bus station in one of the districts of the capital of the DPR, as a result of which two civilians are injured and four residential houses damaged.
There are also damaged two residential houses in the Mariupol direction where the Ukrainian military launch over 50 artillery shells, half of them of 152mm caliber, and make about 10 rounds from tanks.
The DPR intelligence reports that in the Donetsk segment of the front arrived two platoon of a foreign PMC, as well as one platoon of the US Army. Georgian mercenaries who arrived to the contact line earlier, are located in special camps guarded by the «Azov» regiment.
In addition, according to the intelligence, a group of the military personnel, numbering up to a platoon, dressed in uniforms and bearing the insignia of the armies of the DPR and the Russian Federation, left Slavyansk for the front line.
Kiev also continues to build up its combat potential in the Lugansk segment of the front. According to the LPR intelligence, a column of Ukrainian equipment arrived there, consisting of six Ural trucks with ammunition and the personnel, accompanied by four armored personnel carriers.
From Ukraine comes information that the Ukrainian army has set prices for helping relatives in search of allegedly missing Ukrainian soldiers. In units of the Ukrainian army, the cost of information ranges from 5,000 to 15,000 UAH, and in the best equipped and provided «Azov» regiment, the minimum cost is 20,000 UAH.
In Kiev, a column of about 100 cars with neo-Nazis goes to Poroshenko's estate to demand the adoption of a law on amnesty to the ATO participants.
On the same day, Ukraine blocks the transit of food products to Transdniestria across its border and introduces anti-dumping duties on Russian chocolate. The largest producer of chocolate in Ukraine is President Poroshenko.
On May 21, the number of attacks on the DPR from the Ukrainian side is reduced by almost a half, with the majority of them still taking place in the Donetsk direction. For a day, the Ukrainian side launches over 100 artillery and over 300 mortar shells and makes 16 rounds from tanks on the territory of the DPR.
During the day, the Ukrainian military open fire on the frontline locality of Spartak from 122mm artillery. One of the shells lands in the courtyard of a house, where two girls, the only remaining children in the locality, are doing homework.
In the evening, during three hours, the Ukrainian military shell with mortars residential areas of the town of Yasinovataya, located north of Donetsk. Part of the shells lands on the territory of the Donetsk Filtration Plant (DFS), without causing damage to either the plant or the personnel.
However, according to the DPR intelligence, as a result of this shelling, three Ukrainian soldiers are wounded, which leads to a conclude that, in violation of all agreements, the Ukrainian military are deployed directly on the plant territory. The Ukrainian media, naturally, declare the bombardment of the plant came from the DPR positions.
According to the LPR intelligence, another group of 30 Georgian mercenaries arrives at the Lugansk segment of the front.
Local residents of the Kiev-controlled town of Kramatorsk report that the rear units of the Ukrainian army are digging graves for the military personnel. About 150 places of burial have already been prepared, and the digging continues. According to the DPR intelligence, in one of the brigades of the Ukrainian army in the Donetsk segment of the front, all the buried soldiers are listed as missing.
On the same day, a public fund for the rescue of Kiev-controlled Mariupol, the largest city in the south of Donbass, is being created in the DPR. A week earlier, the DPR authorities received an appeal for help from the city's residents, due to the sharply increased terror of nationalists against local residents.
Meanwhile, a 73-year-old deputy head of the «Left Forces Party» is arrested in Vinnytsia. He is charged with treason for organizing the «Immortal Regiment» march in the city on May 9.
At the same time, in Kiev, on the day of remembrance of the victims of political repressions, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine states that the main achievement of the Maidan is the fact that in Ukraine they are no more and will never be.
On the same day, on the TV channel «112 Ukraine», an activist of Avtomaydan states that the peaceful population of Donbass deserves shelling by the Ukrainian army.
At the Zaporozhye NPP, an automatic shutdown of one of the power units is triggered for an unknown reason.
On May 22, the number of attacks on the DPR from the Ukrainian side sharply increases again, in particular, the number of rounds from tanks is almost quadruples.
As a result of the shelling, a civilian is wounded and nine residential houses damaged.
The Ukrainian military also open fire on the Avdeevka Coke Plant located on the Kiev-controlled territory, and immediately after that, from the artillery hidden on its territory, they begin shelling the localities of the DPR, presenting it as a return fire after shelling the plant from the positions of the Republic.
According to the LPR intelligence, to the north of Lugansk, the Ukrainian military have equipped a new checkpoint.
In Mariupol, according to local residents, the Nazi regiment "Azov" radicals unjustifiably accused a 18-year-old boy of distributing drugs and beat him to death, as well as mutilated two of his friends, one of whom, later in hospital, had a part of the spleen removed.
In Kiev, at the Verkhovnaya Rada session, the People’s Front faction calls for considering the introduction of a visa regime with Russia and introducing a 75% quota for Ukrainian-language broadcasting on television.
On the same day, the director of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance calls on Ukrainians to sever ties with relatives living in Russia.
On May 23, in the DPR, the intensity of shelling by the Ukrainian side does not decrease. The most massive bombardments are conducted in the Donetsk direction, where the Ukrainian side, in addition to about 200 artillery shells and about 100 rounds from tanks, also makes 20 rounds from the MLRS «Grad».
As a result of the shelling, a civilian is wounded and five residential houses damaged.
Another five houses are damaged as a result of the mortar shelling of the outskirts of Gorlovka, the largest city in the north of the DPR.
In the southern, Mariupol direction, the Ukrainian military conduct fire from tanks and mortars, which leads to another residential building damaged.
In the Lugansk segment of the front, according to the LPR intelligence, one of the Ukrainian brigades and the State Border Service are put on high alert because of the disappearance of an officer of the group's headquarters senior command staff.
In the economic sphere, the DPR government introduces a ban on the import of goods from Ukraine, while the LPR prohibits, at the legislative level, the alienation of land.

The DPR military authority notes the intensification of shelling from the Ukrainian side on the eve of each meeting of the Contact Group in Minsk, which is aimed at provoking a return fire from the Republic and accusing it of violating the ceasefire during the meeting.
Due to the fact that such a tactic of Kiev has never brought results, this time, before the next Contact Group meeting, the Ukrainian military shelled Kiev-controlled Avdeevka three times.
On May 13, as a result of the shelling by the Ukrainian army, 4 civilians were killed in Avdeevka. On May 22, the Ukrainian army struck a blow at the Avdeevka Coke Plant. On May 23, the city was shelled with Ukrainian «Grads».
In the LPR, the intelligence of the Republic reports on the arrival of about 45 Arab mercenaries on the Ukrainian positions.
In addition, according to the LPR intelligence, in Stanitsa Luganskaya, located north of the capital of the Republic and in which Kiev has already foiled the separation of the forces and means of the parties to the conflict about 10 times, a platoon of the Ukrainian army is located in the maternity house of the town hospital, and in yard of the building two tanks, one infantry fighting vehicle and two «Ural» trucks.
The LPR military authorities emphasize that the People's Militia positions are shelled precisely from the territory of the hospital.
The hotline of the LPR Ministry of Internal Affairs receives a call from a resident of the Kiev-controlled town of Schastye, where at a checkpoint the Ukrainian military «confiscated» her smartphone, discovering a mobile application of the Russian social network.
The hotline of the DPR Ministry of Health received over 1,500 applications from residents of the Ukraine-controlled territories, with a request for medical assistance which they can not receive in Ukraine.
In the meantime, President of Ukraine Poroshenko gives an order to provide residents of the DPR and LPR with foreign passports of the old standard. The persecution of the inhabitants of Ukraine itself is acquiring an ever wider scope. The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine announces the detention of about 250 people suspected of beating the Nazis in Dnepropetrovsk on May 9. The mayor of the city, an MP of the Verkhovnaya Rada of the «Opposition bloc», is named the organizer of the attacks.
On the same day, a member of another faction of the Verkhovnaya Rada declares that, in resolving the linguistic question, Ukraine must follow the language policy of Hitlerite Germany during its occupation of Ukraine during the Great Patriotic War, and calls this policy «exemplary».
On May 25, the intensity of shelling of the territory of the DPR from the Ukrainian side again increases, and the bulk of them again falls on the Donetsk direction, where the Ukrainian military use in the shelling 122 and 152mm artillery and tanks.
In the Gorlovka and Mariupol directions, the Ukrainian army conducts bombardments mainly with mortars, which results in a woman born in 1943 wounded and one residential house damaged.

The OSCE observers note in their report that they were refused the access to the contact line in the area of Schastye. The Ukrainian military stated to them that the road to the contact line remained mined, thus following the tactics of impeding the work of international observers, which was reported by the DPR military authorities last week.
On the same day, a representative of the ATO headquarters officially declares that the Ukrainian military, allegedly after a counterattack, took new positions in the Svetlodar arc located between Gorlovka and Debaltsevo.
In Kiev, a Verkhovnays Rada MP states that the ATO veterans will not allow the opposition and pro-Russian forces to revenge. According to him, based on the received combat experience, at the slightest hint of «losing» Ukraine, they will use the «Plan B», namely the «night of long knives» for the opposition.

Being unable either to get Russia involved into the war, or defeat the Republic of Donbass, or achieve the European standards of living, the nationalist Kiev authorities channel the discontent of their citizens into a search of internal enemies.
By adopting laws prohibiting the St. George ribbon and the prevalence of the Ukrainian language in all spheres of public life, the Ukrainian authorities encourage nationalists to attack any manifestations of Russian mentality.
Cases of pogroms of cafes and shops for the service in Russian become more frequent in Ukraine.
The Kiev City Council calls to return to corporal punishment of school pupils for using the Russian language, even during breaks.
However, nationalists do not limit themselves to attacks only on the Russian language.
In Ukraine, the heads of the Hungarian and Bulgarian communities are arrested on a standard charge of separatism.
The Ukrainian nationalists have already promised the Transcarpathian Hungarians «trains of friendship», gangs of radicals, sent to problem regions to beat those who disagree with the total Ukrainization. In 2014, on receiving news of the departure of such «trains», the Crimea rebelled.
