I would like to start today's briefing with a minute of silence in memory of the Hero of the People's Republic of Donetsk, one of the first of true soldiers who stood up to defend the inhabitants of free Donbass, a man of great value - Colonel Arseny Pavlov. The enemy failed to beat him in a fair and open fight, so they murdered him vilely, on the sly. We will certainly repay our enemies for the death of our comrade, but we will not stoop to the meanness of the  Kiev terrorists. 

I ask everyone to stand. We will honor the memory of the Hero of the DPR, Arseny Pavlov, with a minute of silence. Thank you.

In recent days, the Kiev regime attempted to sharply aggravate the situation in the Mariupol direction. The AFU units, after a barrage of 152 and 122mm artillery fire, were thrown into the attack on the position of the 9th unit of the People's Militia.

Since October 11, 2016, the events have strongly emphasized the emptiness of the words and peaceful promises of the Kiev authorities. While the top leaders of Ukraine were declaring the allegedly full compliance with the agreements reached, the command of the so-called «anti-terrorist operation», who are, in fact, war criminals, made three meaningless and unsuccessful attempts to seize our position in the area of Kominternovo - Leninskoye, in the Mariupol direction. Having realized the futility of their actions, the Ukrainian criminals aimed their artillery fire on peaceful localities. As a result of the shelling, one civilian was killed and another five wounded. There were destroyed and damaged 14 houses in four localities, with the localities Sakhanka and Leninskoye most affected.

All the attacks of the Ukrainian military were stopped by the cost of nine lives of our defenders. Another 13 soldiers were wounded. The enemy's losses for the period from October 11 are much higher: over 40 men killed and up to 100 wounded. There were also destroyed three enemy’s infantry fighting vehicles and one truck with ammunition. 

We have repeatedly been the first to argue for the complete cease-fire and strictly abided by it. The Ukrainian criminal command apparently regarded our earnest desire to establish peace in Donbass as weakness. But the enemy once again made a mistake and paid for it. I hope that the loss of Ukrainian military will cool the hot heads of their generals.

Thus, we clearly see dramatic changes in the nature of provocative actions taken by the AFU command. In addition to the attacks on our positions and civilian localities, ongoing daily with heavy weapons, the command of the so-called «anti-terrorist operation» carries out the attack with armored vehicles and infantry units, with these actions taking place in the daytime. I ask you to note that the OSCE mission observers were unable to respond quickly and promptly report to their leadership.

In addition, there was intensified the activity of the Ukrainian special services. Using their network of agents on the territory of the Republic, they embarked on the path of terror and use the methods employed by the various radical organizations around the world. A sad example of this is the cowardly murder of the Hero of the DPR, Arseny Pavlov. 

I would like to address the criminal Kiev authorities: despite all the bitter losses, our Republic will survive and live, while the country controlled by the bloody government supporting the Bandera misanthropic ideology and acting with methods of terror, is doomed!
