The US Supreme Court has approved an amendment to the federal criminal procedural law, which authorizes the FBI to break into computers and smartphones worldwide.

Previously, for hacking, the FBI staff needed a warrant obtained through the court, to which the suspect is geographically bound. Henceforth, all restrictions are removed. A court in the United States can give security officers the permission to carry out a hacker attack on any electronic device on the planet.

Senator Ron Wyden has already called the adoption of this amendment one of the largest US mistakes in recent years.
