The Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Vladimir Omelyan, stated that the government had not considered the issue of a possible termination of the railway communication with Russia. 

‘At the moment, our government has not considered the termination of the railway or bus communication of Ukraine with Russia,’ said the Ukrainian minister. 

At the same time, Omelyan himself considers it expedient, according to him, to stop any transport communication with Russia. 

Earlier, the media reported that Ukraine could stop rail passenger traffic with Russia in the summer of 2017.
