Today, on the second reading, the MPs of the DPR People's Council have adopted amendments to the law "On the tax system", according to which legal entities and individuals - entrepreneurs who are not residents, are required to enter before March 1, into agreements with the tax agents of the Republic. All 90 MPs present at the emergency plenary session voted for the adoption of the document.

The first reading of the draft amendments took place on February 10. As explained by the then chairman of the People's Council, Denis Pushilin, the amendments were needed in view of the fact that against the background of the economic blockade of Donbass, in the DPR continued to operate companies registered on the Ukrainian territory and not replenishing the budget of the Republic.

According to the amendments, in the case of faiking to meet the requirements for the conclusion of agreements with the tax agents, an external administration will be introduced in enterprises. It should be noted that in the previous edition of the document, the  registration deadline had been envisaged on March 31, but for the second reading, the bill was presented in a corrected form.

'We proposed to sign contracts with the tax agent before March 31, but given the statement by the Heads of the DPR and LPR, Zakharchenko and Plotnitsky, we defined another term, March 1,' said the vice-speaker of the DPR parliament, Olga Makeeva.

Earlier today, the Heads of the DPR and LPR, Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitsky, demanded that Kiev stop the Donbass transport blockade before March 1st. According to the leaders of the states, in the event of the failure to comply with this demand, the People's Republics will impose an external control on enterprises under the Ukrainian jurisdiction and stop supplying coal to Ukraine.
