On the eve of the International Children's Day, the parties to the conflict in Donbass agreed on a ceasefire from midnight on June 1st. This was announced by the representative of the DPR in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the ceasefire (JCCC). 

‘An agreement was reached with the Ukrainian side on a complete ceasefire along the entire contact line from 00:00 on June 1st,’ said the JCCC representative. 

He added that all relevant documents had already been signed. The control over the parties' compliance with the ceasefire will be carried out by officers of the Joint Center for Control and Coordinating of the ceasefire.
