Ukrainian Nazis attack Hungarian youth

02:03, 24.05.2017

The leader of the radical group «Brotherhood", banned in Russia, Dmitry Korchinsky, published a video of an attack on Hungarian patriots in Transcarpathia.

The Ukrainian national-radicals dispersed young people guarding a road sign in Hungarian, after which the sign was destroyed by them. Also, the neo-Nazis set fire to a tent in which Hungarian activists spent the night guarding the sign.

‘Hungarian separatism on the territory of Ukrainian Transcarpathia has the goal to strike in the back of fighting Ukraine. The main support of Transcarpathian separatism is the local backbone of the regionals, which plays into the hands of the enemy who sits in the Kremlin and dreams that Ukraine will cease to exist. But while bands of Ukrainian patriots are operating on the territory of Transcarpathia, Transcarpathia will be an inalienable part of Ukraine,’ Korchinsky wrote in his post.

Earlier, in the Vinogradovsky and Beregovsky districts of the Transcarpathian region, Hungarian activists installed signs with inscriptions in Hungarian. Representatives of local national organizations called the installation of the signs a step in the struggle for their rights. In response, the authorities started repressions against Hungarian activists. In particular, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained the head of the Beregovsky District Council, Yosef Shin, and a deputy, Otto Vasha, on suspicion of separatism.
