The representative of the «ATO» headquarters, Alexander Motuzyanik, said during a briefing in Kiev that the Ukrainian soldiers, allegedly after a counterattack, had seized new positions in the so-called «Svetlodarsk arc».

The «Svetlodar arc" is what the «ATO» headquarters calls the AFU positions between Gorlovka and Debaltsevo. 

‘If the units are engaged in a battle with the enemy, a counterattack is possible, as a result of which certain territories can change hands, and this is absolutely understandable for people who are versed in this matter. I want to note that we are talking about the Svetlodar arc,’ said the speaker of the «ATO» headquarters. 

He said that ‘according to the Minsk Agreements, this is a territory that should be under the control of the Ukrainian side, as well as the town of Debaltsevo’.
