The Ukrainian authorities are seriously considering the power scenario of returning control over the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, which are currently controlled by the Republics.

It was announced by Pavel Zhebrivsky, the head of the Donetsk regional military and civil administration, on the air of Ukrainian television.

According to him, if the Western partners of Ukraine do not prolong the validity of the restrictive measures against the Russian Federation, then Kiev will have no other choice but to prepare for the force scenario of returning the uncontrolled territories.

Zhebrivskyi noted that many volunteers on the front are eager for the fight, waiting for the order to attack. However, the Kiev authorities are not prepared at this time to give such an order, as it will mean a loss of confidence on the part of the West which insists on the peaceful settlement of the conflict through the Minsk agreements.
