The Russian Foreign Ministry informed of data on the preparation by Ukraine of a new war in Donbass. A corresponding message was spread by the diplomatic institution of the Russian Federation after the meeting with the ambassadors of France and Germany in Moscow.
‘The Russian side said that, in the context of a slip in the negotiation process, Moscow is particularly concerned with a recent build-up in activity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and volunteer battalions on the frontline. The aggravation of the situation is also noted by the OSCE SMM observers. There are all signs that the Ukrainian military are preparing a military operation.
Attention of the ambassadors was drawn to the inadmissibility of such provocative actions of Ukraine, which can "reset" all the efforts for a peaceful settlement, including those made in the "Norman" format.
Moscow hopes that the German and French partners will be able to use their influence on Kiev in order to prevent a military scenario fraught with serious destabilization in the region,’ said the statement.
