Today Kiev is to show whether it is ready to fulfill Minsk Agreements

According to "Izvestiya", the DPR and LPR doubt that representatives of Ukraine will bring the draft law on local elections to a meeting of the Contact group on the settlement of the conflict in Donbass, which will be held in Minsk today.

'The political subgroup has not yet made progress on any controversial issue, so I doubt that such a project will be brought. Ukraine says a lot, but does little. However, if its representatives mark their position on the paper, it will serve as a pretext for the beginning of the discussion,' commented Denis Pushilin, the DPR envoy at the negotiations in Minsk, on the situation.

In his turn, Vladislav Deinego, the LPR envoy in the Contact group, said that if a draft of the election law is not submitted by Kiev for discussion, it will become clear that Ukraine continues to manipulate the Minsk Agreements.

'Mr. Paruby has recently announced that they are preparing a draft law on the local elections in Donbass, which they plan to adopt in the framework of the implementation of the Complex of measures. If they understand the nature of the Minsk process, they have to bring the draft of this law to the next meeting of the subgroup on July 13, to agree it with us. If they try to adopt it in the Verkhovnaya Rada unilaterally, we will realize that Ukraine still has not left attempts to manipulate the Minsk process,' said Deinego.
