Donetsk Situation Report, 09.10.2018

For the past day, TWENTY-EIGHT violations of the cease-fire by the enemy have been recorded, in which the areas of the TWELVE settlements have been shelled.

In the Gorlovka direction, from the positions of the 72nd motorized and 58th motorized infantry brigades, under the command of war criminals TATUS and DRAPATOV respectively, the enemy attacked the areas of the settlements of ZAYTSEVO and DOLOMITNOYE with grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.

In the Donetsk direction, the military of the 92nd and 28th motorized brigades, under the command of KOKOREV and MARCHENKO respectively, as well as the 56th motorized infantry brigade, under the command of IVANOV, used weapons of infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms on the areas of the settlements of KRUTAYA BALKA, YAKOVLEVKA, YASINOVATAYA, SPARTAK, ALEKSANDROVKA, the Petrovsky district and the airport area of DONETSK city. As a result of the bombardment of the Petrovsky district from the AFU side, TWO residential buildings and a car in Gorky Street, a house in Vyborgsky Alley and School No. 116 in Samarskaya Street were damaged.

In the Mariupol direction, the war criminals of the 36th Marine brigade, on the order of Gnatov, launched on the settlements of KOMINTERNOVO, LENINSKOYE and SAKHANKA EIGHTEEN 82 and 120 mm mortar shells, and also used various types of grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms. In the attack on the settlement of KOMINTERNOVO, ONE residential building in Akhmatova Street was destroyed, another two were damaged.

The fire at the 6th arsenal of the command of the AFU support forces in the Chernigov region is far from being an accident, it is already the fourth AFU depot burning in two years.

In 2017, the cost of military equipment and ammunition burned in warehouses was several times higher than the AFU annual budget and the money that Ukrainians paid as a “military levy”.

Tens of thousands of people have been evacuated, rail, road and air communication has been closed.

Despite pompous statements by high-ranking officials, to date, no general has been punished, and this is due to the fact that in this way the top military-political leadership hides traces of sales of the Soviet Union weapons and ammunition to the African countries and the Arab crisis zone.

According to the results of the audit check by the military prosecutor's office, in September 2018, there was a shortage of ammunition and weapons totaling over 2 billion hryvnia in the AFU RAW warehouses.

The leaders in missile and ammunition shortages were the 6th and 10th arsenals, the 65th missile artillery arsenal, and the 1631st artillery armament base.

The results of the inspections have been transferred to the Main Military Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine and taken under Matios's personal control.

After that, the Defense Minister of Ukraine set the task for the Chief of the Main Armament Directorate of the AFU General Staff, General Shevtsov, to personally investigate and solve the problem.

According to the data available to us, as of September 30, 2017, the 6th arsenal of the command of the AFU support forces contained 130 thousand tons of various types of ammunition, including missiles, shells for tanks, barreled and rocket artillery.

At the time of the check by the military prosecutor's office, in September 2018, only 80 thousand tons of ammunition remained at the 6th arsenal.

I would like to especially note the fact of storage of 9M38 missiles for the Buk anti-aircraft missile system and all the accompanying and technical documentation to them at this warehouse.

The fire occurred just at the moment when the world community demanded from Ukraine all the documentation on missiles for the Buk systems in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine for a full and objective investigation of the death of 298 people on July 17, 2014.

It should be noted that last week, the location of the 6th arsenal was visited by a group of foreign officers, including high-ranking representatives of NATO.
