The Ukrainian side keeps violating the truce applying the heavy weapons concentrated near the contact line in violation of all the agreements.
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy applied artillery, tanks and mortars. 31 projectiles of 122mm caliber, 4 tank-shells, 133 mortar-shells of 120mm caliber and 52 mortar-shells of 82mm caliber were launched on the territories of nine localities and their nearby areas.
When shelling the locality of Spartak, from the positions of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade using illuminating mines, six house-buildings on Chapayev and Kiyevsky Streets were on fire. Besides, in the locality of Mineralnoye as a result of the shelling there was a fire and burnt down a house.
In the Mariupol and Gorlovka directions, the enemy shelled six localities and their nearby areas with tanks and mortars of various calibers having launched 9 tank-shells, 53 mortar-shells of 120mm and 82mm caliber as well as grenade launchers and small arms.
As a result of the shelling of the locality of Zaitsevo from the positions of the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade with the use of mortars and tracer ammunition, house-buildings and outbuildings on Politayev, Geroicheskaya, Latsisa and Rudnev were on fire. As a result, two house-buildings and two outbuildings totally burnt down and one house was damaged.
Altogether, over the past 24 hours there were recorded 46 ceasefire violations on the part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
There are no losses among the Republican defenders.
The Ukrainian side to the JCCC keeps helping in realizing criminal plans of their curators from the “ATO” headquarters. Apart from false accusations of invented shelling on our part which are regularly spread by the Ukrainian side’s leadership in the Joint Center, its representatives, in every possible way, hinder holding works on restoring critical infrastructure of Donbass.
Thus, today since 08:30 on the contact line, in the vicinity of the locality of Leninskoye, it was planned to carry out repair works of the water conduct damaged as a result of the shelling on the part of the AFU. The security of holding these works, according to the agreement, must have been provided by the presence of the JCCC representatives from both sides, OSCE Mission and the Red Cross. However, the representatives of the Ukrainian side sabotaged the repair of the vital point and didn’t arrive in the pointed district at the fixed time. Due to this, works of the repair team from the territory temporarily occupied by the AFU were not started and the half of the residents of Gorlovka still remains without water.
According to the information available to us, there is an increase in losses in the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that are not related to the performance of combat missions. Commanders of units try, in every possible way, to hide dead and wounded soldiers of the AFU, from the higher command. Worst of all, the situation is in the 28th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Mariupol direction. According to the information available to us, only in July, this year the total number of dead and injured servicemen of the 28th brigade exceeded 20 people. The main causes of non-combat losses are the abuse of alcoholic beverages and narcotic substances, the supply of which is carried out by the so-called volunteers, in exchange for weapons and ammunition.
Besides, there is even an increase in suicide cases, including among the officers. Thus, in the 72nd separate brigade two days ago, an officer hanged himself, he was a Captain. Before his death, he complained to his comrade-in-arms that he didn’t want to participate in this war anymore and couldn’t be retired i.e., he had no money in civvy street. It seems that facing very difficult choice, Ukrainian officer found the only way out of it – commit suicide.
