The situation in the Donetsk People’s Republic remains tense.
Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine violated the ceasefire 68 times. In total, the AFU shelled 20 localities of the Republic. The most intense fire impact of the enemy, with weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements, was applied to the following localities: Zaytsevo, Krutaya Balka, Yasinovataya, Yakovlevka, Dokuchaevsk, Yasnoye, Kominternovo, Oktyabr, Leninskoye, Sakhanka, Spartak, the area of the airport and the Petrovsky district of Donetsk city. The Ukrainian military used in the shelling 122 and 152mm heavy artillery, tanks, 82 and 120mm mortars, as well as infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, anti-aircraft systems, grenade launchers and small arms.
As a result of the shelling by the AFU, there were damaged nine residential houses, including:
- eight houses in the locality of Yasnoye, N 28 in Schorsa St, NN 13/2 and 17 in Valova St, NN 14, 16, 17, 19 and 28 in Pobedy St.
- one house in the locality Trudovskiye, in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk city, N 93 in Karnavalnaya St.
According to our intelligence:
- in the area of the locality of Avdeevka (5 km away from the contact line), there was detected one tank platoon of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the AFU;
- in the area of the locality of Pobeda (6.5 km away from the contact line), there was detected one battery of 122mm howitzers D-30 of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade.
According to available information, due to the disastrous shortage of personnel in the Armed Forces, the scheduled rotation of the units deployed in the ATO area, has been postponed indefinitely. In this connection, among the military of brigades, waiting for a speedy return home, the unrest began, escalating into disobedience to orders of the commanders. From despair, in the 1st battalion of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade, in the area of the locality of Krasnogorovka, one soldier committed suicide.
In addition, there are massive cases of desertion of the military from the location of the units, which led to the fact that the «ATO» command was forced to enter the curfew hours from 22.00 to 5.00 in the localities Kramatorsk, Dzerzhinsk, Dmitrov and Konstantinovka.
Our units continue to conduct the enhanced combat training with defensive themes. In the course of training, the personnel increases the skills and coordination of the units.
