Riots in Kiev City council: ATO radicals stormed into session hall

00:34, 17.03.2017

A group of camouflaged ATO radicals, suppressing a weak resistance of the guards, broke into the session hall of the Kiev City council and forced the deputies to pass a resolution on severing economic ties with Russia.

This was reported by the press service of the nationalist party «Svoboda» (Freedom) which had initiated the adoption of the resolution.

‘The City council has prohibited business entities any trade ties with the country-occupier of Russia. During the adoption of this decision, the war veterans blocked all exits from the hall and forced deputies of other factions to vote for this decision,’ the «Svoboda» does not hesitate to advertise the intervention of the military in the activities of government bodies.

‘The Kiev community said its word: the Sberbank, VTB and other Russian banks, petrol stations, institutions are now not accepted by the residents and are officially unwanted in the streets of Kiev! Now every Kiev citizen can demand the closure of such an institution in his yard or in his street!’ Vladimir Nazarenko, a representative of the «Svoboda», explained the consequences of the decision.
