Cavusoglu canceled his visit to Ukraine because of murder of Russian ambassador

The Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu has canceled his visit to Ukraine, scheduled for December 20-21, because of the murder of the Russian ambassador in Ankara.

‘Due to the tragic events that took place yesterday in Ankara, our minister canceled his visit to Ukraine, scheduled for today or tomorrow. The visit is postponed for a later date,’ reported the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

When the visit will take place is still unknown.

Earlier, Cavusoglu said that Turkey mourns with Russia due to the murder of Ambassador Andrey Karlov.
